School Update from Mrs Harris 11.5.2020
Dear Parents/Carers,
Firstly, I hope that you and your families are all safe and well.
I would like to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’ for all the work you have been doing with your children during lockdown. It has been an extremely testing time for us all and there remain many unanswered questions, even after the Government’s announcement last night.
I imagine that you have many queries and would appreciate some clarity with regards to schools partially opening 1st June. I will be meeting virtually with teachers and Governors this week to put together a plan. We need to decide how we can open safely for specific year groups, but also continue to provide home learning activities, plus support for vulnerable children and families of key workers.
We also need to wait for futher information from the Government, but I want to reassure you that we have the well being of children, your families and our staff at the heart of all our decisions.
We are missing the children immensely and it is a joy to receive emails and pictures of the work you have been doing with them.
I will be in touch again as soon as clearer information from the DfE is provided to us. In the meantime, please feel free to email me at head@crowton.cheshire.sch.uk with any questions you may have and I will endeavour to answer them for you.
Much love and my prayers for you all,
Yours sincerely
Heather Harris
